I just cannot agree. Angelia and Brad are considered the two most beautiful people in the world. Both are Democrats. Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Anniston, Al Gore (who became hot after all his cool this Earth down discussions), George Clooney, Ben Affleck, Andre 3000, Demi Moore.....and the list goes on.

And puh-lease, what other Democratic candidate has hot girls recording music videos in their honor?

I was also incredibly touched by your earlier post. Thanks so much for sharing. While you may want some perspective from the whole experience, it surely makes me remember to put my own life here in the States in perspective.

I wish I could see you all go nuts this Sept.

I went to see the band the Decemberists at the Hollywood Bowl last night, and this guy name Adam Bird opened for them. The drummer in Adam Bird's band could have been your long lost twin brother. Granted I was sitting in the last section of the bowl and the big screen seemed miles away, but from where I was, it was like you were there too. He was skinny, bearded and slightly shaggy ( and I mean that in the best way possbile) and he was even wearing a maroonish hat that very well could have said Western Sizzlin' across the cap. So if you're lying about this whole Africa thing and really a rockstar...I'm gonna be pissed.

Mauritania prays for rain

Nouakchott, Mauritania – Mauritanians have launched a nation- wide prayer for rain in the midst of a recurring drought, PANA reported.

Responding to a call for prayers by President Sidi Ould Cheick Abdallahi, citizens started collective prayers for a good rainy season on Sunday.

Though Mauritania, situated in North-west Africa, has had recurrent droughts, the late start of the rainy season this year has raised fears the situation could worsen.

About three-fourths of Mauritania is desert or semi-desert, a situation that has been made worse by prolonged, severe drought over the years.
