No more than 5 minutes after posting that last entry, I was greeted at the office door by a wall of car horns and people banging on their doors, hoods, and any other resonant surface within arm's length. It would appear that the former mayor from before the coup has successfully regained his status as man on top.
But I could be wrong. I've seen weirder shit happen around here.

I just wanted to be the first to respond since I am usually the last on the Dirt n Sand wagon.
I loved reading about the elections and am also intrigued by the new choice for the gecko name. Yasmine Bleeth is genius. If the effing poll actually worked, I'd consider leaving the Bertrand camp. Anyway, I am stuck at work until tonight, and then driving up to the great state of CT for Thanksgiving, probably fielding incessant phone calls from my grandmother demanding to know why I'm not home yet. Since we still haven't really seen any pictures of you, I'll put in an extra reminder to please eat something this week in honor of Thanksgiving. Really, John. I hate to think what you must weigh right now without any Chipotles for miles around. I hope you find a way to do something special on Thursday. Happy Thanksgiving!!
